Partner with the Diverse Cumbria Awards 2026
A year-long platform, not a single evening, from the first nomination to the last headline.
Since 2016, DCA has recognised EDI leadership across Cumbria. Partnering isn’t a charitable gesture. It’s a strategic alignment with a programme that communities trust and that the region’s business and public sector leaders take seriously.

What your partnership makes possible
DCA is funded entirely through sponsorship. Your support is what keeps nominations free, finalist tickets complimentary, and general admission priced at cost. It’s also what delivers the professional production, media coverage, and community reach that make the night matter beyond the room.
We’re not asking you to buy a table. We’re asking you to back the people making change happen.
Who's already on board
For the first time in the programme’s nine-year history, both Cumbrian councils have joined as joint Principal Public Partners. Sellafield Ltd returns as Legacy Partner, the programme’s longest-standing and most consistent supporter.
2026: Westmorland & Furness Council, Cumberland Council, Sellafield Ltd, North Cumbria NHS Trust, BAE Systems, Nuclear Waste Services, Carlisle Racecourse, Jockey Club Catering, MJW Audio.
Previously supported by: Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, ITV News, Hanson UK, Northern, Reays, UNISON, Platinum Live, Razzamataz Theatre Schools, Access 4U and others.
